- Game Data: We track your in-game progress, including completed levels, current coin balance, life count, and your inventory of power-ups (Radar, Compass, Auto-find).
- Transaction Data: When you purchase Coins or other in-app items, the transaction is managed securely by the app stores. We track your coin balances against your unique User ID to deliver your purchases.
How We Use Your Information
Your data is used strictly to operate and improve the Mappia game. This includes saving your progress so you don't lose your completed levels, syncing your coin and power-up inventory across your devices, and providing customer support if you experience issues with an in-app purchase.
Data Storage and Security
We use advanced cloud infrastructure to store your game data securely. We employ strict Row Level Security (RLS) policies on our databases, ensuring that:
- You can only access and modify your own game profile and inventory tied to your User ID.
- We do not sell your personal data, email, or gaming habits to third parties.
Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to operate Mappia efficiently:
- Supabase: For secure database management, cloud storage, and handling Apple/Google authentication.
- Apple Store: To manage in-app purchases and coin packs. Payment details are handled entirely by these platforms; Mappia does not have direct access to your credit card information.
- RevenueCat : To securely validate in-app purchases and update your coin balances.
Children’s Privacy
Mappia is a family-friendly game, but we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you are a parent and believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us to have it removed.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your User ID and game progress to provide our services. You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data (including coin balances and progress) at any time by using the in-app account deletion tool or contacting us. Upon deletion, all data is permanently removed.
